MBNA Fraud Alerts available at no cost on all MBNA Credit Cards.
MBNA Fraud Alerts is a quick and hassle-free way for you to be notified if there is suspicious activity on your MBNA credit card(s).
How Does It Work?
If we have your current mobile/phone numbers and email address on file, MBNA Fraud and Security will attempt to alert you regarding any suspicious activity on your MBNA credit card(s).
-
With SMS and Voice Alerts
If you respond to the alert with an 'N', it tells us that the transaction is invalid - your account (including all authorized users) will be blocked, and you will be prompted to speak to a live agent. If you respond to the alert with a 'Y', it confirms that the transaction is valid and you can continue to use your card as normal. -
For Email Alerts
You will not be able to respond to the email to resolve the issue; the email will prompt you to contact MBNA Fraud and Security as soon as possible.
